Day: 01: Arrival in Bangalore
On arriving in Bangalore, assistance will meet and transfer tourists straight to the hotel.
Freshening up at the hotel will be followed by a sightseeing tour of the beautiful and famous "Garden city". This will include visiting the Lal Bagh for witnessing the plethora of varieties in old trees. Apart from that, a view of the Lotus pools, Fountains, Terraces and even and the tropical herbs and sub-tropical herbs will be conducted. Visit some historical monuments like Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace, Bangalore Palace, and even Mayo Hill. Bangalore is the seat of many popular museums and galleries and attractions like Bangalore Museum, Venkatappa Art Gallery and even HAL Aerospace Museum will be covered. The tour will also cover Maharaja's palace and the government buildings, which can be a fascinating experience altogether. This will be followed by an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day: 02: Bangalore – Mysore (about 230 km / 04 hrs)
The day will begin with a morning drive to Mysore. On the route, the tourists can visit the famous Sravanabelagola and Srirangapattna. On arriving to Mysore, tourists will check in at the hotel and rest for the rest of the day. You can enjoy the rest of the day in leisure and relaxation and stay at the hotel overnight.
Day: 03: In Mysore
After breakfast enjoy a full day sightseeing. The various spots to visit will include Mysore Palace, Jayachamindaraja Art Gallery, Devaraja Market, St. Philomena’s Cathedral, Chamundi Hills, Jaganmohan Palace & Brindavan Gardens. Each place has unique and interesting features that make it worth the visit. A visit to the Mysore zoo, which is one of the oldest and most popular zoos in India will also be a part of the tour. At the end of the day, you will retire back to your hotel and stay overnight.
Day: 04: Mysore – Bandipur (85kms /02 hrs)
Followed by breakfast, you can drive to Bandipur, which will take around 2 hours approximately. Check in at the hotel and get the opportunity to enjoy several in house activities. Lunch will be served right at the hotel. A jeep safari in Bandipur National Park is a must. This will be followed by dinner at the hotel and an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day: 05: Bandipur – Ooty (about 90km / 03hrs)
The day will start with a hearty breakfast followed by a drive to Ooty, which will take around 3 hours. You will check into your hotel, and enjoy the latter half of the day in different activities of sightseeing. Some of the places to cover consist of Botanical Garden, local Churches, and the famous Ooty Lake. Dodabetta Peak, Madhumalai Wildlife Sanctuary, Centenary Rose Park etc. are other places to visit to get some of the most enriched experiences. You will get plenty of free time to stroll around the picturesque Lake and take a tour of the local bazaar around. You will stay at the hotel for the night.
Day: 06: Ooty – Coonoor – Madurai (300KM / 07hrs)
Early morning breakfast will be served at hotel, which will be followed by a train Journey from Ooty to Coonoor. Some of the places covered will include Lady Canning’s Seat, Sim’s Park, St. George’s Church, etc. After the completion of the Coonoor sightseeing, you will head towards Madurai by road. For the rest of the day, relax after checking into the hotel and an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day: 07: In Madurai
In Madurai, the day will start with breakfast at the hotel. Sightseeing activities will include taking a tour of the Great Meenakshi temple. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva with the towering Gopuram. It goes high above the surrounding country side. Following this, you will see the Tirumala Nayak Palace, which is a wonderful building made in an Indo Saracenic style. The building is mainly famous for the work of stucco on the arches and domes. Other places of sightseeing include Puthu Mandapam, Thirumalai Nayak Mahal, Saint Mary’s Cathedral, etc. Spend rest of the evening in the hotel or by visiting the Banana market, which is a wholesale market for several bananas. It is a fascinating experience to posses. This will be followed by dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day: 08: Madurai – Rameshwaram (175kms/ 04 hrs)
Following the breakfast at the hotel, drive to Rameshwaram. This will take around 4 hours. On arrival, check in to the hotel. Rameshwaram is a city that stretches for 56 km with its gentle sand dunes. It is beautifully embossed with casuarinas trees and stark palms. It is known to be a sacred place for Hindus because it has one of the famous Jyotirlings in India. Lord Shiva is worshipped here. The place is also associated with lots of mythological and historical significance. According to Glimpses of Karnatakayana, it is here that Glimpses of Karnataka worshipped Lord Shiva to absolve himself of the sin of killing Ravana. Take a complete tour of the city, which is also famous for its 1220 meter long corridors of carved pillars. The city sightseeing will be followed by an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day: 09: Rameshwaram - Kanyakumari (315Kms / 7Hrs)
The day will start with early breakfast at the hotel followed by a drive to Kanyakumari for approximately 7 hours. On arrival, you will check in at hotel, and on the second half of the day, visit the unique wooden palace of Marthanda Varma. This will also be followed by a visit to Suchindram temple, which is dedicated to trinity and akulam. Kanyakumari is an important pilgrim centre of Indians. The place is greatly famous for Bhagavathi Amman temple, which is a symbol of unity and sanctity, and it is dedicated to the virgin goddess, Kanyakumari. You will even visit the south-eastern part, famous for the Vivekananda rock memorial, which is a perfect blend of different architectural styles prevalent in India. Visits to the Gandhi Memorial, Sanguthurai Beach, Vattakottai Fort, Sanguthurai Beach, Kamarajar Mani Mantapa Monument, Vattakotta Beach will make the sightseeing in this famous place complete. Each of these places has some historical or architectural significance. After a tiring day, stay and rest at the hotel overnight.
Day: 10: Kanyakumari – Kovalam (90kms / 02hrs)
Right after the breakfast at the hotel, tourists will drive to Kovalam. Arriving to the destination will be followed by checking into the hotel. You can enjoy the second half of the day at the Beach and spend a relaxing time. Some of the common beaches here are the Lighthouse Beach, Hawa Beach, etc. A tour will also be conducted to Vizhinjam Caves, which is popular for the rock cut nature; Vellayani Lake, which is the largest freshwater lake here; Chowara, which is a famous fishing village; Vizhinjam Marine Aquarium, which is famous for the image peral production technique and Halcyon Castle, which is a great example of magnificence, grandeur and old luxury. Followed by the sightseeing at Kovalam, stay at the hotel for the night.
Day: 11: Kovalam – Trivandrum - Onward Destination
This is the final day, where tourists will be transferred to Trivandrum airport for the flights for onward journey back home.
